Koh Chang (Ko Chang) Marine National Park is beginning to known to Thai and foreign travelers only few years ago. It features fine beaches, coral ranges and plentiful marine life. Koh Chang (Ko Chang) is also rich in natural resources such as hills, forests and waterfalls, the latter an important fresh water source. Fruit orchards dot the island.

Koh Chang (Ko Chang) Marine National Park, the largest among the 52 islands of Trat, is also the second largest island of the country after Phuket. It covers an area of 429 square kilometers. Koh Chang (Ko Chang) Marine National Park ‘s area is protected and controlled by Forestry department of Thailand.

It's considered very convenient to visit to Koh Chang (Ko Chang). By driving from Bangkok it takes only about 3 hours and another 45 min to take ferry to Koh Chang (Ko Chang). And it takes about 50 min to fly to Trat and again another 45 min to Koh Chang (Ko Chang) by ferry.
